Searchlite, Accumatch’s data matching engine is an API that can be embedded in a batch or real-time system. Most matching solutions require core matching logic as well as data standardization for best results. A complete Accumatch solution will include these major components:

• Matching and decision engine - the client's core business logic is stored in knowledge maps, which assign weights to individual data elements. The decision maps enable the system to mimic the intuitive decisions that a human in your organization would make when matching data elements.
• Address standardization and certification - Addresses are ubiquitous in data across industries, and are often a crucial component in data matching. Our software and 3rd party CASS certification software are used together to structure your unstructured address data, yielding higher match rates and more accurate matches. Addresses can also be geocoded and appended with data such as latitude/longitude, county codes, and delivery point validation codes.
• Name standardization - individual names, company names, government entities and husband/wife combinations are parsed and standardized to increase match rates and accuracy.
• Legal description standardization - highly freeform legal descriptions found in real property data are parsed and standardized to increase match rates and accuracy.

Any data elements can be used in probabilistic matching, such as phone numbers, social security numbers, date of birth, gender, dollar amounts, etc.
